Dr Mulder was very thorough in her explanation of my diagnosis and treatment options. She was empathetic, knowledgeable, professional and approachable.

Dr. Mulder speaks very fast, but she offers tons of info. I'm glad the after visit captured a good summary.

Dr. Mulder was excellent! She had reviewed my medical history thoroughly so she could speck to me very specifically about diagnosis and treatment. She was approachable and spend sufficient time with use to discuss what next steps she would do. I felt very confident I was receiving the best medical care for my diagnosis.

Dr. Mulder is just exceptional in every way. Not only is she technically proficient (judging by the speed and uneventfulness of my recovery), but she has an EQ that is all too rare in my experience. I ask a LOT of questions and am accustomed to reading some impatience from my doctors, but I never sensed that from her. In fact, when she understood that I am a science nerd and appreciate knowing the details of the anatomy and procedure, she met me at my level (and made sure to show my a picture of my excised thyroid post-surgery, like I asked beforehand!). This was my first surgery, and I could not have felt more confident or taken care of from my first consultation to this last check-in. I'm truly grateful to have been referred to her.
Please check with your health insurance plan regarding coverage for this type of care. Not all providers at UCSF Health are covered by every insurance plan.
