About me

Isaura Figueroa is a social worker who cares for adults receiving blood and marrow transplants and for their families. She helps patients cope with a new diagnosis as well as access resources and support during treatment.

A native Spanish speaker, Figueroa has a special interest in working with Spanish-speaking patients. She seeks to address health disparities and to provide culturally appropriate care and support.

Figueroa has a master's degree in social welfare from the University of California, Berkeley.

In her free time, Figueroa enjoys traveling, dancing, exploring new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.
