I'm glad I did my own research for urogynecologist with the assistance of my gynecologist and referred me to check UCSF because it has a group of excellent urogynecologists. I chose Dr Abigail Shatkin Margolis after checking out her credentials, surgical expertise, comments and reviews based on patient experiences. My initial appointment with Dr Margolis was an instant trusting patient/ dr relationship. She was a very caring , compassionate, empathetic and an excellent listener kind of doctor I am looking for. She allowed me to express my concerns, worries and alleviate my fears and useless anxieties. Dr Margolis explained to me fully what a one time fixed procedure she plans to do, the amount of time to complete procedure under general anesthesia, and recovery period post surgery. Her physical assessment of my condition was thoroughly explained to me and she answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Dr Abigail Shatkin Margolis for anyone seeking a urogynecologist where safety, trust, knowledge, surgical expertise and caring attitude are all manifested in her calm professional demeanor. Thank you Dr Abigail Shatkin Margolis for accepting me as your new patient. I left the office feeling relieved of worries and grateful to have found the right Dr to fix my health issues.
