Signs and Symptoms

Someone who has a dislocated shoulder may experience:

  • Severe pain
  • Swelling
  • Inability to move the joint
  • A visible bump in the front or back of the shoulder
  • Temporary numbness or tingling in the shoulder area and down the arm
