The UCSF Sol Silverman Oral Medicine Clinic provides world-renowned expertise in the diagnosis and management of oral diseases. Our specialists care for patients with potentially malignant oral disorders, oral cancer, lichen planus, vesiculobullous disorders and other immune-mediated diseases, oral complications of cancer therapies, orofacial pain disorders (including burning mouth syndrome), oral infectious conditions, HIV-related oral diseases and Sjögren’s syndrome, among others.
Our services include outpatient and inpatient oral medicine consultations, biopsy of oral lesions, oral health consultations prior to head and neck radiation, dental hygiene services (including care for patients with special needs) and telemedicine.
